Those in attendance shared stories of strength and resilience, offering comfort and inspiration to cancer patients. Some beneficiaries of the charity’s assistance programs were invited to share their personal stories, detailing their journeys with incredible determination and courage. These narratives provided a powerful reminder of the importance of supporting cancer survivors throughout their battles and beyond.

As part of the night’s event included a musical performances by local artists, and dance acts, which added an element of celebration and unity to the evening.

A radiologist, Dr. Edmund Brakohiapa, said Breast cancer remains a significant health concern worldwide, affecting women of any age and encouraged early detection and prevention.

Co-founder of Safe Haven Cancer Support Centre Miss. Janet Brakohiapa touching on the remarkable work of the centre and how far the institution has come, said "we do what we do because we want people to live, we want people to obtain information, we want to demystify this whole disease, the fear that comes with it, so that people will just go out there and live their life".
