Background
The building was donated by the Qatar Charity Foundation in 2021 to the Ghana Health Service and the Ministry of Health. It has been redundant simply because there are no equipment to enable the facility begin operationalization.
This has made it difficult for the residents of Lardowayo -Odumse to access healthcare facilities. Its absence has led to several health conditions that could have been prevented or treated. The situation has led to several preventable deaths especially among pregnant mothers.
With its phrase, Rotary is Good, the Rotary Club of Accra-North upon hearing the plight of the residents, decided to furnished and equip the building.
The club was able to purchase the needed equipment at a cost of One Hundred and Thirty Thousand Ghana cedis (GH¢ 130,000.00) and presented them to the Shai Osudoko Health Directorate on June 6th 2023, to begin the installation.
