Rotary Club And EAP Consult Donates To Children With Cancer

The Rotary Club of Accra Legon East in collaboration with EAP Consult Limited has joined forces to bring smiles to the faces of children battling cancer at the Lifeline for Childhood Cancer Ghana of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. The joint project, "Joyful Hearts" aimed to provide much-needed support and cheer to these young patients.

Through the "Joyful Hearts Project” the Rotary Club of Accra Legon East and EAP Consult Limited donated essential items to the children. These included stationery and coloring materials to inspire creativity.

Also, they donated food items to enhance their well-being during treatment. Additionally, toiletries were provided to ensure personal hygiene and comfort for the children during their stay at the center.

The Rotary Club of Accra Legon East and EAP Consult Limited showed their commitment to the well-being of these young patients by extending a helping hand during their time of need. By coming together under the "Joyful Hearts Projects,” the two organizations showed their dedication to positively impacting the lives of children battling cancer.

Point of View By President of Rotary Club of Accra Legon East

The  President of the Rotary Club of Accra Legon East, Rotarian Joana Amoako, expressed her appreciation to all the donors and volunteers involved in the project.

She said “ We in the Rotary Club of Accra Legon East and EAP consult understands the importance of giving back to our community and making a positive impact. We are gathered here this afternoon to support our children in the Sunshine house with a donation of stationary, food items, and toiletries and to have fun painting together”.

The Act of Giving On Festive Season

She added that In this Christmas season of joy and giving, coupled with this year's Rotary theme “Create Hope in the world”, Rotarians who are people of action are known for their desire to put smiles on the faces of children, especially those who need support. 

“We believe this acts of kindness which includes the provision of food items and toiletries will go a long way to ease the burdens of the families of these young ones. So, I invite everyone present here today to join us in making a difference in the lives of these children.  We trust that your support in diverse ways can and will ensure we make a positive impact in their lives. “ Rotarian Joana Amoako added. 

EAP Consult Limited Speaks on New Possibilities

The Lead Consultant at EAP Consult Limited, Mr Emmanuel Sessou expressed delight in the partnership with the Rotary Club of Accra Legon East for the initiative's success.

Again, Mr Sessou pledged to support the work of Lifeline for Childhood Cancer Ghana with his monthly salary for six (6) months. 

Management of Lifeline for Childhood Cancer Ghana Expresses Appreciation

The Management Executive of Lifeline for Childhood Cancer Ghana, Mrs Ekua Sarpong was grateful to the donors for the support. She explained the day-to-day administration process of the center to the donors. 

Conclusion

The "Joyful Hearts  Project" is a shining example of positive collaboration and kindness. The donations provided by the Rotary Club of Accra Legon East and EAP Consult Limited will make a significant difference in the lives of the children battling cancer at the center. This kind gesture shows the power of collective action in bringing hope and joy to those who need it most.
