Background
The Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ayawaso North constituency has inaugurated a 28-member Youth Working Committee.
The Committee headed by Ahmed Musah is to mobilize and strategize for victory in the December 7 general elections.

The Committee was divided into four main sub-committees. They include Finance, Communications, Welfare, and Operations with representations cutting across the twelve wards of the constituency.

During the event, the youth leader Mr. Ahmed Musah stated that, the majority of the constituents are youth and that he would provide direction to ensure his office and the youth wing work collectively to maximize the votes of John Dramani Mahama and Yussif Jajah.
Making the National Democratic Congress attractive
Additionally, the Greater Accra Regional Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anthony Nukpenu, was the guest speaker. He charged the committee and the constituency executives to adopt a retail campaign strategy to explain the good policies of the party at the grassroots level to make the party attractive to the electorates.

Also, Abubakar Suleiman Siddique, a member of the Greater Accra Regional Communications Committee who contested the recent parliamentary election spoke about the need to unite and forge ahead for victory.
He encouraged those aggrieved to put the internal elections behind them and support the parliamentary candidate towards a resounding victory in December.
National Democratic Congress MP speaks on new possibilities
Moreover, the member of Parliament(MP) for the area Yussif Jajah, congratulated members of the committee and tasked them to be united to enable them to perform their duties effectively and efficiently to exceed the needed objectives.
The MP also hinted that, in the coming weeks, the electoral commission would embark on a voter-limited registration and the services of the youth wing would be crucial to bringing in new voters to participate in the exercise. “As a party, we need to ensure that the young ones at home who are now 18 years old are registered, educated, and monitored to vote for the NDC come December 7”.
Victory for NDC in the 2024 elections
Finally, the former Greater Accra Regional Youth Organiser Thomas Mustapha Ashong, who chaired the occasion, lauded all party faithful present and encouraged them to work hard to secure a landslide victory, both in presidential and parliamentary results in December this year.
