After a year of dedicated service, the outgoing president of the Rotary Club of Accra-La East has officially handed over the reins to the incoming president during a special ceremony held at the Labadi Beach Hotel.

The outgoing president, Mrs. Julia Asante Anim reflected on the many achievements of the past year, highlighting the
club’s successful fundraising initiatives, community service projects, and collaborations with sister clubs.
Their efforts have made a significant impact on the community, and have cemented the Rotary Club of Accra-La East’s reputation as a leading organization committed to making a difference in people’s lives.
Speaking to the gathered members and guests, Mrs. Julia Asante Anim expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to serve as president, and thanked everyone who made the past year so successful.
“Thank you once again for the privilege and honour to serve you as your president for this rotary year”-She said
The outgoing president Mrs. Julia Asante Anim again expressed her confidence that the incoming president, Mrs. Emelia Sackey would continue to lead the club with excellence and dedication.
In taking on the new role,Mrs. Emelia Sackey shared her vision for the club’s future, outlining plans to expand
outreach and continue to pursue meaningful service projects that make a real difference in the community.
“Rotary as we all know stands for service above self and i pledge towards making a positive impact in our communities and beyond”-Mrs Emelia Sackey added.
Attendees on the day congratulated both outgoing and incoming presidents, and expressed their excitement for the future of the Rotary Club of Accra-La East. Moving forward, the club will continue to serve as a shining example of Rotary values in practice, and the embodiment of Rotary International’s mission to promote peace and understanding throughout the world.
