Point of view from Ababio Orphanage and Care Foundation

Donating the items, the AO&C Foundation said the foundation was formed by a group of students from the University of Ghana in 2013. Their purpose is to provide essential support for widows, orphans, brilliant and needy students.  The foundation has planned to support prisoners and those who are unable to pay their medical bills.

Expressing gratitude

Expressing their gratitude, one of the beneficiaries, Madam Afia Gyeduah who received (GHC2,000.00) out of the GHC3,000.00 said she has been in poverty for years without any support. She promised to use the money for soap business to care for her life. Madam Doris Ahwireng said she would use the money for petty trading.

With tears of joy, the two widows who reside at Nsawam Operekrom in the Eastern Region of Ghana thank the foundation for putting smiles on their faces and urge other organizations to emulate AO&C's steps by providing support for others who are in dire need.
